What if the simple likes and dislikes people feel toward a place could shape a region's future?
My research is grounded in one question—how to sustain the national land in an era of depopulation—and in recent years I have approached it above all through the lens of regional perception. How people feel about and perceive a city quietly shapes their behavior and engagement, and ultimately determines whether a region survives. I define those who hold some form of perception toward a specific area as "Regional Perception Holders," and by systematizing this concept I aim to realize sustainable urban and national-land planning from a psychological perspective.
